Find us at the Northeastern Farmer’s Market inside the Curry Student Center 11-4 on Wednesday and on Sunday at the Brookline Winter Farmer’s Market 12-5 inside the Arcade Building in Coolidge Corner.
Along with our delicious cupcakes you can find an assortment of baked goods such as our delicious whoopie pies, and sometimes we’ll have biscuits, bars, marshmallows, scones, and whatever else we have a hankerin’ to make.
Winter is generally the slow season for food trucks and I’d like to hibernate or maybe fly to Florida but instead I use this bonus time to plan for next year and experiment with new flavors and new products.
If you’ve been to the truck before you know we do whoopie pies and oat bars but we branched out over the holidays to making our own marshmallows and yeah, they’re delicious. We’ve made biscuits for the Roslindale market that started at 9 in the morning and we’ve made scones for the Brookline market cuz isn’t Sunday a scone kind of day?
Last week I made baked donuts–something I’ve been interested in doing for awhile now. Why baked? Cuz it’s a little healthier with way less oil. I used Four Star Farms pastry flour which is awesome (and local) stuff in general, but super delicious in our old-fashioned nutmeg flavored cinnamon sugar topped donut.
Like any baker I’ve got a list of different things I’m dying to try and some of them may show up at the markets or on the truck in the future, you never know.
To make things easier for you and your friends and family, we’ve got a mix and match 1/2 dozen deal–choose any 6 cupcakes and/or whoopie pies boxed up for $15.
